ISO 45001:2018

OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY

The occupational health and safety (OH&S) management system, ISO 45001:2018, is a NEW international standard that provides a framework for an organization to manage risks and opportunities to help prevent work-related injury and ill health to workers. The system is designed to work with any organization, large or small.

It is the product of collaboration between more than 70 countries. The framework identifies and controls health and safety risk, reduces potential accidents, aids legislative compliance, and improves overall performance.

The standard also demonstrates how to develop and implement a policy with the right objectives for organizations of all types and sizes. More and more companies also want detailed information about their suppliers’ occupational health and safety practices to protect their brands.
